Man Nabbed With 'Large Quantity' Of Cocaine In Hudson Valley, Police Say

A Hudson Valley man has been busted with an alleged "large quantity" of cocaine and cash following an investigation.

Dutchess County resident Anthony J. Gonzales, age 34, of the town of Wappinger was busted on Thursday, May 11, during a search warrant execution by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.

Gonzales, who was the subject of an investigation into drug sales in the town of Wappinger, the town of East Fishkill, and the surrounding area, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, said Det. Sgt. Adam D. Harris. 

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed on Thursday, May 11, at a residence on Route 376 in the town of Wappinger by the Task Force and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit, Harris said.

Gonzales was taken into custody and Task Force agents seized a large quantity of cocaine and U.S. Currency from his residence, Harris added.
